Oh hey. Another blog post already… I swear as soon as it starts getting colder the days/weeks go by so so quick! Just me?
Sorry this one is a bit late I do try and post every Friday but life got in the way as I’m sure it will do a lot of the time – ugh life why you gotta be so ruuuude, don’t ya know I’m human too (name that song).
I don’t know if you knew this about me but I love makeup. I am surrounded by makeup every day at work and TRUST ME when I tell you how strong my will power has to be to not come home with something new every damn day, I’ve got a fair amount of the stuff not like drawers and drawers full but probably enough to keep me going for a couple of years lol. I also wear makeup pretty much daily except for when I’m at the gym or when I’m having one those days where you literally don’t step out the door once, You know when you just spend the whole day sleeping, eating and chilling in your pyjamas until about 9pm then you shower put new PJ’s on and go to sleep.
I do have my go to everyday favourites, I have used the same foundation, powder and mascara for the past 4ish years and am very reluctant to change those, but with everything else I like to mix it up every now and again so these are the things that I have recently tried…
I want you to know about them, I want you to try them and I want you to love them as much as I do. Just helping a gal out!

REVLON PHOTOREADY PRIMER (001 clear) – If you have greasy skin and find your makeup is not lasting well throughout the day this is the primer for you. It makes my makeup last twice as long, gives my skin a velvety finish perfect for applying liquid foundation over. I also use this primer on its own when I’m going to the gym just to cover up any pigmentation and smooth over my pores.
ARDELL EYEBROW POMADE (Blonde)– This is a really good brow pomade. The applicator tool it comes with has a great size angled brush on one side and a spoolie on the other. The pomade itself is very easy to apply to create your perfect shape of brow without any fuss, mess or turning yourself into Cara Delevingne. I used to use a grey eyebrow pencil because I hate my brows looking yellow toned which a lot of eyebrow products for blonde hair are but this one has a nice ash blonde/light brown tint to it. Definitely give it a go if you want an effortless everyday product for your brows.
SLEEK FACE CONTOUR KIT (Light) – Contouring isn’t really my thing but I do like to have a little definition to my face and cheek bones so this simple but surprisingly effective little compact is ideal for me. It has a warm toned bronzer and a pretty champagne coloured highlight. I have been using this most days for a few months now and as you can see I haven’t used that much product so you certainly get your money’s worth. 2 in 1, travel sized, good sized mirror, high quality product and great for make-up beginners. What more could you ask for?
BOURJOIS COLOR BOOST LIP CRAYON (Proudly Naked) – I adore the colder months with all the festivity going on but with it being so chilly my lips have to pay the price they are always getting incredibly dry and yeah its all well and good sticking some Vaseline or lip balm on them but when there are events, celebrations and parties to go to all the time (anyone else find November, December are your busiest months of the year?) you want something with a little more oomph. This lip crayon is a keeper the shade is a nude with a pretty brown/pink tone to it. You don’t need a mirror to apply it and you will in no way end up lipstick smothered around you face or god forbid on your teeth! It is so moisturizing, it doesn’t stick to any of the cracks in your lips it actually disguises them and makes them look soft and plump leaving you with a non sticky gloss like finish and being waterproof and 24 hr wear you can’t go wrong 💄 💋
BARRY M FALL IN LOVE EYESHADOW PALETTE – Ugh I love this palette. Just look at it! Barry M you done good with this one! Its matte which I prefer when it comes to everyday looks, amazingly pigmented and easy to blend, perfect for autumn/winter, has a lovely size mirror and is ideal for traveling because of the light cardboard packaging. These 10 shades are all anyone would need to create bold or subtle day and night time looks – The black shade also comes in very handy to use as an eyeliner alternative! This palette cost £6.49! Yes really! It is 100% worth that and I’m so happy I found it.
