Hello lovelies ☺️

Last Christmas blog post – I did want to do more but Christmas is always such a busy time and hey there’s always next year.

I can’t believe it is the 29th of December already!  Christmas was over in a blink of an eye wasn’t it?  Well they do say time flies when you are having fun but I really hope everyone reading this had such a magical day 💙 because I certainly did and even though Christmas is not about the presents and spending a heap load of money on each other in my house, I thought I would show you some of the things that I was kindly gifted this year. 

Just quickly I was very lucky to get a lot of thoughtful presents from friends and family and am so grateful and love everything but in this blog post I am just going to show a few of my absolute faves and things I thought you might be interested in seeing. If you do want to know where any of these items are from just leave me a little comment.

Right let’s get into it…

Firstly can I just say what girl doesn’t want a light up mirror?! My fiance obviously thought 3 mirrors for my bedroom wasn’t enough so got me this which is so perfect for doing my makeup and means I can sit on the floor when doing so as the mirror itself moves up and down. Am I the only one who like sitting on the floor when doing my makeup? I am really happy with it and love the way it looks!

I was beyond happy with this beautiful pillow from my cousin. It was like he read my mind because just a few days before Christmas I was out shopping for pillows and couldn’t find any I liked. This one is just what I was looking for – It makes the best back rest, is so soft and is absolutely huge. PERFECT!

YAY! Oh I was happy when I opened these. I love getting CD’s I hate how it’s all on your phone nowadays I know it’s all the same but there’s just something better about having the actual cd in your hand. They are both incredible albums and if you haven’t heard them you need too.

Does anyone else always get Lush goodies at Christmas? I think it’s the perfect gift. I never normally shop in Lush so it’s a nice little treat and I normally get a quite a few bits that will last me way into the year.

This Rosie gift box looks so pretty I can’t bear to open it yet but I can see it has one of my favourite bath bombs in it – Titsy Totsy – it leaves rose petals floating in a milky bath.

I do honestly think my family are mind readers because I had wanted to try both these products (in the second photo) for so long. I’d seen the ultrabland facial cleanser in so many youtube videos explaining how good it was for greasy acne prone skin which unfortunately I do have! I have tried it for a 4 days now not long enough to see how well it works but I do love how it takes off my makeup and how soft it leaves me skin.

I got a Guitar. No I don’t know how to play the guitar YET, but I will learn! When I was younger I always wanted to sing and play instruments but as you get older you’ve got to go to work and be an adult 😂 so I lost interest in it but my mum bought me this lovely looking guitar and one of my new year’s goals is to learn how to play a song on it! Wish me luck 🤞🎸

Ahh I was so surprised when I unwrapped this Pandora bag my mum wrapped it up with some other small gifts so I would have no idea what it was and I couldn’t believe when I saw this stunning Rose gold silver bangle and Infinity charm. I have no words it was such a lovely surprise 😍 I am never taking it off LOVE LOVE LOVE.

Last but not least Joe got me tickets to see Grease the musical tonight at Theatre Royal. I love gifts like this because it’s something you can do with the person who got you the gift so you can both enjoy it. We saw Footloose last year and he really enjoyed it (to my surprise) and I know Grease will be just as good if not better because I loved the film enough to watch it over 10 times. Can’t wait!! Eeek 😊

I know I’m going to try and make this upcoming year my best yet and I think you should too. Have you got goals for 2018? If not spend an hour writing down everything you want to achieve, everywhere you want to go and anything you’ve always wanted to do but haven’t. A goal should scare you a little and excite you a lot! Let’s show the world who we are and what we can do!
