Where do I start?

I haven’t written a blog post for near enough 10 months… I can’t be too hard on myself though because SO MUCH has happened within that time.

Thinking about starting to write this has given me a lot of anxiety as I feel like I have to fit everything in that’s happened but the truth is that would be impossible so I’m going to stop stressing and just give you the highlights of my life over the past 10 months then do an individual blog posts on the ones that I want to write more about.

I’m not going to put these in date order I’m just going to throw them out there…

I went to Rome…. ✈️

I really wanted to do a blog post on this trip but it was October so seems a little too late now but I am so happy I’ve finally seen Rome. We had the nicest weather for our 5 days there, sunny every day! I recommend everyone visits it’s a very special place and I would love to go back.

I passed my theory test… 🚘

EYYYYYYY, for the second time haha! I passed first time a few years back then let it run out without having lessons or taking my practical. I passed again and will not let that happen this time, I’ve had 12 hours of lessons so far and it’s going really well. Woo!

I became an Australian citizen… ☀️

This is a good one. I feel incredibly lucky to know that whenever I want I can just up and go live in the beautiful country of Australia.

I turned 23… 🎉

I had a lovely weekend celebrating my birthday – Night out with friends on the Friday, Most relaxing day getting spoilt by my now hubby on the Saturday and family get together with all the food on the Sunday! I still feel about 19 and pretty sure I will forever feel that age but nope I’m a 23 year old just out here trying to live her best life.

I became a wife… 👰🏼

Yes I married my best friend, the love of my life. Myself and Joe tied the knot on the 18th April 2019, exactly 2 years after he asked me to marry him. I’m going to write a separate blog post all about it!

I moved house and town… 🏡

Brighton – Colchester! After 5 years we finally have our own space as a couple, I don’t know how long we will be in this house because Joe moves around a lot for work but for now its home.

& I think you are all caught up! There are a lot of small but equally lovely things that have happened too but I think these are all the stand out ones it has definitely been a crazy exciting 10 months to say the least.

but let’s be REAL and honest life is not always as perfect as it seems on social media and likes to throw a curve ball in every now and again and it definitely did that – Just 10 days after we got married Joe my husband was sent away with work for 3 MONTHS! I had to start life as a married woman, in a new house, in a new town all by myself. I want to write about the deployment and how I’m coping/coped with it soon so look out for that!

I know we are already half way into the year and its been pretty quiet since Joe’s been away but we have a few lovely things coming up and cant wait to blog about the rest of 2019.
