BOOK REVIEW: Field Notes On Love…

Hey all

Just a short post today,

I want to tell you about a book I recently read and really enjoyed:

Field notes on love by Jennifer E. Smith 💗

This was actually my honeymoon read, I wanted something cute and romantic and that is exactly what I got.

It is technically a young adult book which I didn’t realise at the time of picking it up in a rush at the airport, but I honestly did not notice that one bit. It was quite a short book and very easy to read, but sometimes I find it nice to read a book that you don’t have to pay a lot of attention too and doesn’t take you forever to get through.

This book is so much more than the synopsis explains. As well as the main story line there are loads of heart-warming moments going on behind the scenes of the romantic train adventure. Mae & Hugo are both desperate to escape their lives for a while and find themselves but they end up finding each other and that seems to be exactly what they needed.

I enjoyed the way each chapter would go back and forth between the two main characters I found this made me want to continue reading even more.

If you’re looking for a book that will have you smiling, tearing up and feeling inspired to grab life by the full then this is the one for you.

My overall rating: 7/10

I purchased this book from Whsmith for £7.99 but it’s currently on sale for £5.75 click the link to get it now!

What’s your favourite book you’ve read this year? Leave me recommendations in the comments please!
