Hey π
February always goes by so quickly, which this year I was grateful for actually. Although it was my birthday month itβs been such windy rainy freezing cold weather Iβm happy to say good bye to February and hello march! Its officially spring yass! The daffodils are out and Iβm ready to start painting my nails yellow and wearing my denim jacket… whoβs with me?!
I donβt use enough new things to do monthly favourites so Iβm going to do this every 2-3 months. I hope you enjoy reading this as much as I enjoyed writing it π
TikTok
I got introduced to it by a friend (thanks Maria) and got quickly obsessed with it! Why is posting videos of yourself trying to lip sync or throwing out moves like youβre a professional dancer so much fun? I donβt suggest downloading it unless you want to waste a good couple of hours of your day but if you do give me a follow – @louisemannionΒ
Netflix – Love Is Blind
When Love Island finished I needed something to binge and love is blind was the perfect watch. I really enjoyed it, yes its cheesy and absolute rubbish but I must admit I do love a bit of reality TV! Itβs an experiment to find out if Men and women can fall in love without ever seeing each other and propose to get married within 3 weeks! Sounds mad but give it a go Iβll put money on that youβll be addicted after the 1st episode. π
Re-usable Cotton Pads
Why I repeat why have I not used these before?! π€·πΌββοΈ I found these in my local savers. I’d heard of the Face Halo which Iβm guessing is kind of the same thing but didnβt want to spend that much on something I wasnβt sure I was going to like. I picked these up for Β£2.99 and you get 3 in a pack – absolute bargain. I love them! Iβve been using one for nearly the whole month and it still looks and feels brand new.
I just use micellar water on it dry to take my makeup off then rinse it under warm water to get the worst off, wash it with some baby shampoo so itβs sparkly clean ready for next use. I just let mine dry on top of the radiator. It saves you money in the long run, helps against waste and works just as well if not better than cotton wool pads.

Lavender Temple Balm
Lavender sends me to sleep like a baby…. I used to put drops of lavender essential oil onto a cotton pad and put it in my pillow case which works a treat, but when I run out I saw this in Holland a Barrett and liked the sound of it. I rub it into my temples and wrists just before I read my book for a while in bed. I normally have a lovely sleep so if your struggling might be worth a try! P.S I’m not sure why it looks like I haven’t used any of the product, the flash on the camera seems to hide the finger sized scoop I’ve taken out of it – A little goes a long way! π

Sienna X Sleep Gradual Tanning Drops
Does anyone else find that tanning products improve your skin and blemishes? I have oily acne prone skin so it might be because it dries my skin out but I find when I’ve been using tanning products on my face for a few days I don’t get any new spots.
After figuring this out and looking paler than Caspar the friendly ghost I sought out to find a good gradual tanner for my face. I picked this one up from Superdrug for around 20 quid which does seem quite pricey for such a small bottle but you only use such a small amount every night that itβs lasting me very well so far. It is worth the money for me.
You simply add a couple drops to your fave night cream mix them together and rub it in like normal, make sure you wash your hands well after. I find it takes a couple nights to start to notice it, and then you can keep going until you’ve built up your perfect colour.
I really love this product and don’t think I can ever do without it now.. π

Seastraw – Re-usable Glass StrawΒ
My brother went out to Australia late last year and sent me back one of these Glass straws as a Christmas giftΒ – I hadnβt started using it until earlier this month and now I canβt stop! I was a bit skeptical at first because I thought it might break easily but my brother said when he bought it the creator of them hit it with some force on the edge of the table she was selling them from and reassured him that wonβt happen. It feels so much nicer to drink from than the paper or metal straws you can get and also comes in a very handy bamboo carry case with a straw cleaner too. Another great thing about it being glass you know when its clean properly – I take mine everywhere with me and if your someone who likes drinking from straws have a look at the website linked below you wont regret it! π₯€

What’s been your favourite re-usable product you’ve tried?!
