Hey me again!
Make sure you read my previous health and fitness journey posts before you carry on, this one will make a lot more sense if you do.
I was meant to post week 2 of my health and fitness journey on here last Friday and week 3 the end of my first goal was meant to be today, I said I was going to be honest and thatโs exactly what I am going to doโฆ
Week two didnโt go too bad I managed to do 4 workouts even though it was over 30 degrees in my house every day, and had a few really healthy days diet wise. Including a lot of salads and smoothies! Adding Quorn roasted style chicken fillets to my salads has changed the game! So tasty.
Week 3 was a fail and hereโs where the excuses start but Iโm not going to be too hard on myself because I know I will get back to it 100% once things have settled down. My husband is currently on his summer leave which is amazing but throws my routine off completely, itโs been the hottest 2 weeks we have experienced in England for a long time if you are from the south of England you will know exactly what I mean. On top of that there have been a lot of important life things needing my full attention this past week. The heat made it unbearable to do any kind of exercise in or outside the house without feeling like I was on fire and then not sticking to the calorie counting came along with that, not eating smaller portions and making unhealthy choices. This is just the beginning and there are going to be slip ups but I am determined to come back better than ever and get into an unbreakable healthy routine.
So there you go my 3 week goal didnโt go to plan and today we head off for our postponed 1st wedding anniversary weekend away. The number on the scale has stayed the same which I knew would be the case and I donโt feel any more comfortable in a bikini to when I started this but hey thatโs okay, I am still going to enjoy this trip the same as I would have if I had lost a few pounds.
It looks like Louโs Lifestyle posts are going to carry on for a little while longer and I am hoping to start again this Monday coming. Focusing on 30 minutes of exercise a day and a few long walks a week and also really cracking down on tracking what I eat.
I have been watching a show on Channel 4 (if you are from the UK) called Lose a Stone in 21 Days with Michael Mosley. Itโs really motivating me as well as making me aware of things, a major one being how much sugar I am probably having daily. I must try and cut that down drastically, I believe doing that will really help with my journey to a healthier body.
I hope you are following my journey and are looking forward to more Health and Fitness content. I unfortunately have not got any blog post’s scheduled so it will be quiet on here until I have time to get on the laptop, expect a post all about our weekend away! Until then have a lovely safe weekend and I’ll speak to you soon.
I am always here to interact with so please feel free to leave a comment with any tips, questions or just say hello! ๐
