Back again with another insight in what I eat in a day to lose weight.
I have put my information into an app called Lifesum and to reach my goal I have to aim to eat between 1300-1400 calories daily.
It’s been about 25 days since I last posted and I’m down a few lbs but not enough if I want to fit into my goal dress. I definitely need to start exercising and moving my body more, but I struggle with the motivation for it! Any tips please?
I have started to make sure I do not go over the total calories and I am also embarking on something new today … NO SUGAR! If that’s even possible considering how much it is in that we don’t even know about. I’m going to give it a go to see if it’s possible and if it helps me reach my goal faster.
This was my day yesterday, so sugar is still definitely involved, I was surprised to see that Glucose syrup was one of the main ingredients in Pesto.
BREAKFAST

It’s the day before food shop day so I was making do with what was in, I wouldn’t recommend this smoothie for taste, it certainly was not my best work but maybe adding a banana would help?
Smoothie:
Coconut water
Ginger Paste
Tsp Spirulina
Frozen Pineapple
Tahini 1 Tbsp
Coffee soy milk, no sugar
Total = 250 KCAL
LUNCH

Pesto
Pasta
Olives
Edamame beans
Total = 544KCAL
DINNER
I hadn’t eaten any fish for about 6 months but felt my body needed some protein and iron. I would never eat meat/fish regularly as I do not believe that is healthy but every so often if I am craving it, I will have a small amount.
Salmon
Broccolini
Homemade chips / tbsp of mustard
Total = 599KCAL
Total for the day = 1,393KCAL
Just within my 1400 limit. I am hoping by cutting out sugar will bring my calories down… Does anyone want to see one of these once the sugar has been cut out? Let me know.
