An insight in what I eat in a day to lose weight.
I am healthy, but I am not happy. I do not feel comfortable in my own skin which is why I am on a mission to lose some weight.
My brother’s wedding is in 3 months, so I have given myself a goal to fit into the dress I want to wear. I’d say it’s about 1-2 dress sizes smaller.
I have put my information into an app called Lifesum and to reach my goal I have to aim to eat between 1300-1400 calories daily. This is without me adding on the exercise I do.
This is not what I eat everyday it’s just a look into what I have eaten today to keep within those calories…
Breakfast

Porridge sachet
Strawberries
Coffee 1 sugar/soya milk
Cranberry juice
Total= 518kcal
Lunch

Pumpkin and carrot hot salad with ranch dressing
(Yoghurt ranch dressing from Woolworths is a game changer)
Green tea 1 sugar
Total= 440
Dinner
Veggie Hot dog with bun (ketchup & mustard)
Homemade chips
(No photo for this meal as I got carried away and forgot to take one. If you haven’t tried veggie delights vegetarian hot dog sausages, you need too. They taste exactly the same as meat ones without all that nasty stuff that goes into them)
Total= 498
Total Calories eaten today= 1456
I’ve gone slightly over my goal amount but that’s going to happen on days, even if it happens every day, I am still conscious of how much I am eating and that will make all the difference.
Will try and do these once a week for anyone that is in the same boat as me and is struggling for meal ideas!
